Engine Management Light on this morning but.......

Off this afternoon.

Can this light switch itself off or has the bulb blown?

Yes , they can and do clear themselves as long as the engine is fault free for a few runs the code will reset itself

Thanks for the reply.

The code was P0174 so I guess I might have a failing O2 sensor. To be expected I suppose after 124K.

STFT1 reads 0.0
