The CTEK charger plugs into the mains (240v AC) like any other battery charger , and by connecting it to the towing socket it keeps the car battery fully charged without the need to run the engine. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999

The iid does check the battery voltage before making any changes, But best to have a decent charger connected and a well charged battery in the first place. I have one that supplies 25A constantly. |

Well I sent a message to Patrick at Gap, he replied very quickly and told me that my problem with the upload failed message is a known bug and they will fix it as soon as they can. Files are still written correctly which is the main thing.
