A slightly different issue but my youngest son constantly had issues with the DPF in his car (Skoda Octavia). Went into the dealership as the car was under warranty and they just said £1400 please as you need a new one as blocked ones can't be repaired and it's not covered.

The local Terraclean company fixed the problem completely for £250.00, which to me was a big plus.

I have one of these "hydrogen carbon clean" things arranged, with before and after dyno runs for late June

Had a Range Rover Sport in with a completely blocked DPF. Car wouldn't drive at all

Spent a few hours washing it out with a pressure washer, fixed the original fault (MAF) and took it for a run, whereby it done its own regen, and never had an issue since
