Centre cubby box temperature

So I've had my 2007 TDV8 for a few months....I've noticed differing temperatures of the front centre cubby box......anyone know if the climate controls affect the temperature of the cubby box? I've looked but can't see any controls, maybe the duct work pass the cubby box for the rear outlets??
I have cooled front seats if that makes any difference??

Rear air vents apparently direct some cold air in there - or so I was told when I thought I had a fridge in my L322 Embarassed
