Went to start the car this morning and my finger went through the switch (car still stops and starts but it is strange that it just 'collapsed' with no prior indications of anything failing).

Wonder if it is covered under the LR warranty.

Saw a post on the Duckworths section that the switch is about £47 but no idea how they are fitted etc.

I think the LR warranty will cover it too nmj but you never know.

Had never heard of them breaking... To touch it felt a piece of paper/ card that just collapsed inwards

Thanks to the JackRegan link it is apparent that a fair few people have had their buttons collapse in the same way and one post dates back to 2013

Seems easy to fit though if not covered by the LR warranty and not too expensive to replace.

Sounds like a wee bit of a design flaw though?
