Rear Windows Tint Film. LR or aftermarket?

The rear and rear quarter windows in my 2010 SE have scratches in the film on the windows. Is this a factory fit film? I would be surprised but not entirely if it is. The match to the properly tinted rear door glasses is near perfect but it does seem odd. Then again the car does have a very odd spec having been a LR car from new with a LR pvt plate (retained by sole previous owner after LR). Its an SE but seems to have most of the Autobiography spec boxes ticked except for the full leather interior and the badges. RSE, 1700W music, Rear diff lock, AutoB wheels, 4 zone climate, AutoB exterior.
So. did LR ever use film? I'm tempted to pull it out but it would odd with the heavily tinted rear door glass. 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner

If it's scratched then it's aftermarket film , factory tints are actual tinted glass . You can always tell at a glance if you can see the heating elements through the glass, factory tints are just dark no lines. 2008 MY Supercharged

remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

I know it is film. Just wondered if lLR ever toyed with outsorce film? Why would you have a high spec car with real tint on the door windows and plastic to the rear? 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner

No - LR have always used tinted glass.

Film is used by dealers who retro fit for a customer, but the factory always use dark glass.

Yep as alistair said, the LR privacy glass is actual tinted glass!!

Cant see the elements..

LR never used film from the factory. The films would all be aftermarket possibly fitted by a company for the dealer, but would be on customer request, but most likely done by an owner. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It must have looked bloody odd with dark tinted rear doors but not the rest of the rear glass. 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner

Are you sure rear door glass are not aftermarket film as well, near impossible to tell unless you look for a seam at the edges.
