Disco3's 2011 Calender

The guys over on D3 have produced yet another superb calender this year - IMHO the best yet......
Pics are here http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic57912.html

Should FFRR have a go for 2011?

Pictures taken for reproduction/printing have to be really large files for print quality reasons (that's what makes the D3 2011 one so much better than before) so it isn't possible
to put the pics up on here unles you reduce the file size first. Over on RRSport they tried 3-4 years ago but it kind of fizzled out.

There are enough members here to be able to produce enough photos of FFRR's doing their stuff - be it towing something interesting, acting as a wedding limo or covered in mud from a good session orf-road or just gleaming in tropical sunshine somewhere after a continent shrinking trip?

Just remember to set your camera's resolution to 10+mpixels for really good printable quality on the day that you take the pics.

Maybe Martin can advise how we go about it as he appears to be the big cheese in charge of D3's superb efforts for this year's 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I'm for it Tim... would be a good idea.

However, no idea how to go about it. Embarassed

I could ask about at work though as we produce a Corps Calendar. I'll ask about if you like.

Seems like a great idea, but I don't have a FFRR yet so couldn't participate/Put forward pictures.

Yes, I'm up for it and also have a Nikon D300 SLR which I shall bring to the Salisbury Plains event. Should get some decent pics there.

Maybe we should start a Calendar photo thread?

Without wanting to detract from the idea of this thread, I just checked out Vistaprint and ordered a desk calendar!

Taking pics at Salisbury Plain event sounds like a good idea. At least they'd be top quaility and of some off road action. FFRR TD6 HSE

That is a cracking calendar over on D3.

I don't see any reason we can't do the same. I'd certainly put a picture or two forwards for consideration.

Yes. And not all the pics need to be muddy ones.
You can have a few mud, snow, kerb crusiers Wink holiday pics in the mountains, on the beach (with FFRR) etc...

I think it's be quiet easy if you could get people to actually participate.

I know a place up on Exmoor which would provide the perfect back drop to a FFRR. Going to be camping there in April so will def take some pics. FFRR TD6 HSE

We can probably get a few there, but either way it's too late now I'd have thought to talk abpout it, take pics nad then get a calendar printed.

Ideally wouldn't we need to start thinking about this in November for 2012 ?
