MPG information

Hi all

The mpg information that is displayed on the dash and radio fitting (on HSE models). Does it give you your current MPG or the average MPG since you last reset the measure? I am hoping its the average as it doesn't seem to be changing much even when I am cruising along the motorway at 65mph. Seems to be hovering around the 21.7ish mark.

Cheers FFRR TD6 HSE

Easy way to check is to go into Computer and reset one or both of the MPG readings. That will reset the "average" reading and essentially give you an instant mpg reading for a while. Ash

Thanks T24RES

Looks like I am getting a pretty average return with 21-22mpg. I am mostly around town with a few short motorway journeys. God knows how Fox got 30mpg from his Td6!? FFRR TD6 HSE

I am getting around 21-23mpg at present, driving around town and the odd bit of motorway. Think the best I have got so far was 27. Reformed

I could get 27-28mpg in my 2003 TD6 on a long drive (400miles +) with ease. My TDv8 RRS used to get up to 34mpg on the same drive. I haven't yet tried it in the TDv8 FFRR but in April I'll let you know if I can! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
