If they are similar to my outgoing X5 there is a micro switch under the mirror casing. The little metal tang fell off or became bent. One dicky sensor will knock both out causing the in/out movements. Ian |

thanks thats great the dealer just wanted me to spend £1000 plus vat i said no, anyone any idea how to remove the casing ? |

might be worth doing a search for the casing removal..most likely been asked and answered before... |
