Gearbox additive

Put two tubes of the gear shudder in the box today as have been told by a few box people it's a great teflon coating to stop and prevent shudder and give smoother changes and WOW trust me it's amazing so smooth on changing and I know a chap who had a slight judder at about 1500 rpm and cured his 8 months ago,it's worth a go I put in box with the plug on the side not the bottom one, leave on tickover though and take plug out or it will pour out if not running ,done 20 odd miles up and down hills and smooth as silk 👍 It's called Dr tranny lube in the red tubes lol on fleabay 😉 _____________________________________________________

If you get a chance can you post a pic of the plug you removed/put this in? I've never worked on the tranny of these let alone looked at them. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Gives some the chance to save up as it seems others have got up to 30k more or they sell it and also with the paper in the filters and tc it protects from tearing more with the teflon coating 😉 _____________________________________________________

I believe he means use the filler plug hole not the drain plug hole. Wink As said, keep the engine running when removing the filler plug. Otherwise the fluid drains back out of the torque converter and runs out of the filler plug hole. John
