The first accessory to buy for your many thousand pound car is a hundred quid Tom Tom. letters not necessarily in the right order

Full size spare will fit - so get one

Also, there is a hoist kit, so that you can get said spare out of the wheel well again

When I bought mine, the shopping list was 22's, then body coloured side vents. Then full size spare and hoist and that was about it.

iPod, tow rope, jump leads dash cam etc came from my old car

I then bought and fitted a side net like I had in my L322 - no idea why the L405 doesn't have the mountings.......

1. Are there any iPhone/ pad leads that should come with the L405... I asked the salesman and he said no?

2. I've brand new luggage net for the outgoing L322... Does that fit the L405/ not had a chance to check yet?

That's a couple of good points. Didn't think about net mounting - I have a floor one for the L322 which I've never used. Also the music streaming. My iPods are ancient in that they are plugged into speakers. Nothing as fancy as Bluetooth!

I had the misfortune of having to get the L322 spare out last October. What a pain in the butt that was. Had to crawl into the boot.

I have an antique iPod in mine - an old 160gb one - I just bought a short cable and it fits well - there's a perfect little slot for it
