I removed the boot trim to fit mine properly I think there was about six screws.

^+1 Much easier if you remove the plastic trim, fit the rubber cover and replace the trim. |

Gave up with mine..... might remove trim tomorrow and do it right....

I was also struggling - removed the boot trim and it was pretty easy after that |

mine sat on its packaging for ages because i thought you had to remove the trim, tried to fit it without and it went straight in |
