Fortunate only the photo was upside down Craig πŸ˜‚

Thanks Stan πŸ‘πŸ»

Moment of truth... preferred the silver ones... but... used number plate double sided fixing pads when fitting the black vents to compliment the clips and think the pads will make the vents a pig to take off πŸ˜‚.

So stuck with black vents for a wee while, maybe πŸ‘πŸ»

Thanks Stan, haven't got photoshop Embarassed

Researched the trim piece you mention and it's called "Rear Bumper Insert".

No Santorini black ones on eBay for now (there are Atlas variations). Powerful UK seems to do a full trim kit but they're gloss black.

Don't really want to have the existing trim painted. Prefer option to revert the car to original factory spec so will keep the Atlas trims for that option.

Not sure Stan, Mrs pld thinks the rear silver strip as is, gives a more balanced look. Take your point though it does also look quite good. Thinking...

i reckon it makes the rear bit look longer...by changing to black it gives an optical illusion that its shorter..

After some careful consideration I decided to 'black out' the front and rear of my car, but leave the side trim and wheels silver. I replaced the grill, long lower strip below the grill and both air intake grills at the front plus the long upper tailgate strip at the back. That said, if the car was a lighter colour I would have left as is. I just don't like the contrast of those pieces and have no regrets. Still have the originals as well so could change back no problem when I sell the car if thats what the buyer would prefer. See gallery for pics

Stan, just to be annoying could you black out the full strip as that would be an interesting view? Thumbs Up

I am not a fan of the back bit only being black...
