How Many Do It On Top

The other day whilst washing the car ( which is rare usually get the valeters to do it ) , I was wondering how many members actually wash the roof of the FFRR.

I wash my roof everytime Thumbs Up In fact I'll be taking my Rangie to a detailer I've used previously, so that he could detail my ffrr properly, and he'll be using Zymol Royale on it(£7k worth of wax)

Mine get's a weekly all over hand job at £4!
Surprisingly, SWMBO doesn't like that particularly after i've been off road - she uses it commuting and wants to kid her work colleagues she's been driving the big dirty beast in the mud.
She doesn't like the Chelsea tractor label!

I wash mine most weeks by hand.

I use a Flash branded extendable handle microfibre wash cloth thingy to reach the roof without having to stand on anything (dropping the suspension helps as well). It's also good for the windscreen and bonnet, but Censored all good at getting into all the nooks and crannies on the side of the body.

I don't trust anybody else to wash it. Just takes a bit of carelessness or dropping the cloth in the gravel to put some lovely "effects" in your paintwork. This is probably generalising (a lot), but it seems that most operatives at hand car washes may not have all their immigration paperwork in order! Surprised And therefore are probably not insured.
