the BMW convertible we're selling to make way for the Vogue failed it's MOT yesterday- the first time it's ever failed! We've owned it for 7 years and it's always gone through no problems. We bought it when it had to have it's first one and up till now, we've never even had to replace a bulb on it.
It was only the rear coil spring, which had snapped (common problem apparently) so a quick trip to the breakers and an hours messing about on the drive has sorted it.

I did promise the new owner it would have 12 months MOT on it, so there you go.

It's going to be a sad day on Saturday, handing the keys over to it's new owner Big Cry . It's the longest I've owned a car. The Vogue will make up for it though! Thumbs Up

Another excellent reason for owning a FFRR. Just wish I'd got tinted windows so I don't get "caught" looking Embarassed

Damn. Maybe I've bought the wrong car! Embarassed Maybe a RRS is more appropriate to my choice of shirt wear!

I have found a problem though. Nice to have the height to look down into other cars, but looking to my right at traffic lights and finding a bus full of window lickers staring at me does cancel it out a little. Laughing Laughing
