England 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Tonga Green
Transmission Fault - Traction Reduced

Today I got the dreaded 'bong!' accompanied by the message 'Transmission Fault - Traction Reduced'. This was on starting the car. Message has gone and did not reappear on subsequent start ups.

Battery is about 6 months old - so I don't think it's low voltage (although what do I know?).

I have done a search but cannot find anything specific, so can anyone provide any further info on what the problem might be please?

Cheers.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

My old SC did this a couple of times when I first got it. I replaced the battery with a new one and only ever saw it again when it had been sat for a couple of weeks.

Flashed up on startup but not again.
