I always use the concentrated screen wash from Tesco but this time of year I use it neat haven't had a problem yet. Doesn't the FF have heated washer jets as well. |

Took SWMBO to airport this morning at 3.00 AM -6 Centigrade washers frozen there and back despite having "proper" screen wash in. Had to stop twice on way home to clean screen, didn't stop on the way there because I didn't want her to be late for flight. It's my only week of peace in the whole year |

Agreed, it needs to be neat. I have concentrated wash, diluted 50;50 with water and it’s freezing at around -3, so it’s frozen now. I’d expect most “ready to use” (ie, diluted at the factory) to be hopeless. |

Yep, I have to agree "ready to use" is useless when it gets so cold, heated jets do just that - heat the jets, not thaw out the reservoir and the pipes but on the upside gummi pflege ensured I could open the door this morning. |

I use Decosol Excel screen wash in winter & have never had a problem with frozen washer jets - even on our D2 with non heated washer jets & temps down to -10c on 1 occasion. The Decosol is rated down to -24c if neat.

makes sense that the reservoir would be frozen and hence not supplying water to the washers cos today, a bottle of water i had in the cab was frozen solid... ... - .- -.
