Drivers window not closing properly at speed

As per title , my drivers window doesn't quite close fully when going more than 65 mph , makes a bloody din with wind noise , any ideas ?

Are you actually able to tell that the window is not fully shut? I'd have thought that once it was shut it would stay in the same place regardless of speed, and that the problem was more to do with the door seal being defective. That has happened with mine, it was repositioned or replaced under warranty (not sure what the dealer did) and that solved it for quite a long time, but there were occasions latterly when there was a bit of noise (irritating) and pressing the window button confirmed it was fully shut. I'd start by checking the seal. Only Range Rovers since 1988

It runs slighty out of the seal when closing at speed so it's shut but not sealed .

and with the auto close - goes straight back down. Most disconcerting when it first happens 24 hours after picking up car and on the German autobahn enroute for Romania - visions of a long cold drive! Just have to slow down and wind it up! Series 2a LWB Hardtop - ex British Aerospace that was then used in an armed robbery! not by me!

Try opening another window slightly to reduce the pressure of sucking the window out thats how I over come the problem?

Slowing down to 60 works , it doesn't drop back down thankfully just doesn't seal properly , tried opening all the other windows to aleviate any pressure to no avail

I get the same. I take the window upto the final inch or so then just edge it up a few millimetres at a time.
