Rear wiper and washer stopped working

Hi. I have an 02 plate l322 and the rear wiper stopped working last week. The arm stopped halfway across the window. Washer does not work either.

I've tested to see if there's power getting to the motor and there is on both plugs, however I don't know which wire is connected to the stalk switch to check that is working. On the smaller of the two wire plugs I get power from the larger wire but nothing from any of the other wires.

I have had to replace one of these motors on our pre ious l322 due to the washer fluid leaking but this appears to be a different problem, saying that this motor has been leaking too.

Hi. Thanks but I did, I may have missed something but from what I have read nothing helped me with my problem.

I had this problem myselflast year. It started working after about 6 weeks. The 2nd time it stopped I gave it a push and it started again. It has now stopped working again. I think it may be worn electrical contacts but I have had chance to investigate.

Problem solved. Motor was toast. I replaced it with a new unit and it worked straight away. Unfortunately the price of the motors has gone up alot. £217.
The water squirty nozzle doesn't stay clicked down on the nozzle though which is annoying.
