Northumberland and Lindisfarne.

Baltic Blue is all washed and polished, loaded up and off up to enjoy this spell of lovely weather in one of the UK’s many beautiful areas.
Northumberland and Lindisfarne this time.
Any tips of hidden gems to visit?, although we already have a pretty full agenda, , National Trust membership cards in hand.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

Not too well hidden but worth a look:

Craster for the kippers then a walk to the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.

Chillingham castle for the herd of wild white cattle

Langleeford south a bit from Wooler and then walk up Cheviot if you are feeling energetic.

Cragside near Rothbury

Rothbury to Alwinton then on to Blindburn and the roman camps beyond. Dead end but good walks

Useful link https://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm
gives OS map down to walking scale, but site is use limited on its license so may not allow OS mapping later in the day. Good if you have nearby wifi or phone.

Enjoy, great area.

Richard

Scotland 2017 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Corris Grey

Good advice.

Along the Tweed is good too. Castle ruin and village at Norham, historic chain bridge plus honey farm and display of old agricultural machinery at Horncliffe, picturesque villages on Ford & Etal Estate.

If you like historic motor racing, consider the Jim Clark museum at Duns, not far over the border. His grave is at Chirnside, near the family farm.

Again not far into Scotland there are nice cliff/seascape walks at St Abbs Head, your NT membership will include parking at the NTS car park. Only Range Rovers since 1988

United Kingdom 2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

No way! Just returned from Lindisfarne yesterday and did the Farne islands Saturday. We stayed in Beadnell.

Ours was the battered old silver vogue.

Couldn’t resist a little detour on the sand across the causeway!!

Why it has taken me so long to explore this corner of the country is beyond me.??
The coastline from the Scottish border down to Seahouses and beyond is stunning.
I won’t bore you with lots of detail, but last full day tomorrow, Calling at Cragside, then off home after the tea time rush, ready for Saddleworth Whit Friday celebrations, a must not miss event!!!

No flies left in Northumberland, they are plastered all over the front of B B.
Bank Holiday will be a car cleaning weekend Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
