Tow bar help please

My car has had a tow bar fitted in the past but I suspect it's been removed by a dealer at some point.
I'd like to refit it if I can find one, but in the boot is a removable hook but marked BMW.
Does this look correct for a 2007 TDV8?

simple answer. that looks like a westfalia ball, but its the wrong shape for the FF. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
