Passenger front door not opening

Front passenger side door doesnt open with the outside handle, but still works from inside the car (if you lean acros from drivers seat and wind yourself on the armrests Crying or Very sad )

Is this a common fault guys? I'm sure we had a cable replaced in it 2 or 3 years ago (my memory is rubbish), could it of gone again already??? It only gets opened a few times a month, so surely it cant be that??

EDIT: Having searched my previous posts, it did indeed go 2 and a bit years ago, could it of gone again already? Its hardly used Crying or Very sad

This happened to me this morning - driver door would not open from outside or inside. I was all ready to buy a replacement cable, but after leaving the car parked in the sun for a couple of hours, its fixed itself - it was frozen! was -5 this morning... hopefully you are just frozen out too! 2010 FF 4.4 TDV8 Vogue - Gone

I Had similar on Monday.
The handle was frozen, and the door opened fine when I pulled the handle but wouldn't close at the cable/handle/mechanism must have been stuck in the pulled state.
After 3 or 4 attempts to close the door it latched again correctly. Too many toys, not enough time

Did you end up fixing this and was it a pain to do?

I`ve just encountered the same problem with my front passenger door. It opened fine this morning and now nothing. Big Cry
