URO brand valley pan

I just received my Uro valley pan/gasket. Anyone else try one? It has a "improved" design and gasket. Lifetime warranty. I wanted to just do the Permatex gasket with the old pan because I'm cheap but with the lifetime warranty and what does appear to be a better design I had to try it. Have need sitting on parts to do this for many months but now it is just getting too leaky to ignore.

So I'm about to do the valley pan. Coincidentally I was at my local Indy mechanic for programming a tps antenna. I happened to mention the Uro brand valley pan which he said don't do it. They installed one and it lasted 2 months. So I guess I will not be trying the "new improved" design.

Now that this has been out a while the horror stories are adding up. Such a shame.

The big question is how long and miles is "since"? I've read many posts on this. Many factors on getting it reseal just right. Some posts suggest the original gasket material fails due to valve cover oil leaks. IDK. I'm sure getting an 80k to 100k mile seal on a reseal depends on clean surfaces, the right sealant and an even bead. I'm still debating on a new pan vs a reseal. If I hadn't turned my garage into an office I'd for sure take the gamble.
