Possibly the wires in the tank are starting to fall. Do a search on 'fuel gauge'. There is also a TSB on it - you'll find it in the threads from the search. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Yeah, I saw that TSB. I’ve changed both senders so I’m happy all connections are good. No7 - 2003 V8 Vogue |

So despite me being confident all connection where good, I re-visited the tank and took it back to basics with a meter and sure enough I wasnt getting any resistance on sender 2.
