I will add some pictures to this thread tomorrow.
I haven’t fitted mine yet.
I started the job a couple of weeks ago, but was pleasantly surprised how much material was left on my front pads, so finished up just getting the pins out and cleaning everything then putting them back in with the old pads.

would be interested to see if they are identical bar the LR part No. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

^ try Dan, for discs, I reckon I didn't pay that for a set of gen LR discs for the 4.4TDV8, was a couple of years ago now tho. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Slightly off topic, but worth bearing in mind....

It is well known that the pins can be devils to get out.

My pads were only half worn, so the temptation to leave alone is understandable.
However I decided to tap out the pins whilst the wheel was off etc.
The bottom pins on both sides were all but seized and took a lot of effort to eventually drift out.

I am totally convinced that another winter and they would have had to be cut, turning a ten minute job into a nightmare.

Now thats interesting Mike... JLR pads have JURID stamped into the metalwork at the top...

Furthering my belief that JLR commission JURID to make pads for them to an exacting quality etc etc and when JURID make branded pads to sell to/through motor factors, they are made to a price!

Ive just ordered a set of JURID branded pads to try myself...

put some copper slip on them when you put them in....

never had much of a problem with mine, sometimes a bit stiff, but not to the extent that they wold bend! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Does make me wonder what the mark up is on the parts if they can so frequently offer that kind of discount?
