I'm shortly taking delivery of an 06/07 MY RR 4.2 Supercharged, with Jet leather and Grand Black Lacquer trim.

The centre trim parts (gear shift surround, climate control etc) are silver and I was wondering if anyone made GBL replacements for those pieces?

I think the silver coated plastic is a bit low-rent for such an otherwise nice interior so if anyone can suggest a place I can get good quality replacements to match the main trim, I'd be grateful. Thanks!

Don't know anyone that does the bits ready finished, but have had my trim transformed to carbon look via a Hydrographics process by a company called Garnish in Exeter (UK). http://www.garnish-uk.com/hydrographics-exeter/

You can specify many finishes including Piano Black lacquer. I'd guess you'll have hydrographics specialist places in NZ too so probably google is your friend. Good luck. Mike - MPx

I sent my trim away to a company called wicked coatings. They are sprayed black finished with a high build lacquer.ive had it done for over a year and it’s still as new .

That looks really smart.

Ideally they need to be a swap scenario because, being in New Zealand, I can't easily send stuff in for being worked on etc in the UK or drive the car less the trim.

I found a couple of places in the US doing real woods, with frightening prices (US$3500 for a full set!) but your car looks really good so I shall endeavour to find somewhere where I can do an exchange thing.

I have emailed them, as a couple of the parts are not shown on the website.

I may even change the interior from Piano to Walnut or Cherry, as it is a bit dark with all the black trim and black leather etc.
