I really hope so,
Drove back from Wales today without both screens in the middle on, radio was on but could not get to anything else.
Stopped the car three times turned it off and still no screens.
It came back on after stopping at a roundabout when another fault came up saying stability program has failed.
Mind blowing
I will definitely need counselling it this one has issues

I got the same yesterday, blank screens for about five minutes and then all came back on ok. Also the Lane Departure warning comes on now and again without switching it on. Weird....much more and it'll be into the dealers Whistle

Well the saga continues.
Went to collect my new car yesterday and came away with out it arhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Had a phone call on the way up from the sales guy saying the system they use to register and tax the vehicle was down and they could not release the car.
He said it maybe down for a hour or so as this has happened before but he couldn't guarantee this would be the case.
So I decided to continue up to The dealer hoping and praying it would be fixed.
Arrived at 12.30 and left at 3.30 without the car.
Someone somewhere really does not want to have a Range Rover
They are arranging for the car to be delivered to me.
It is now beyond frustrating

I guess the Post Office no longer handle this, at least they didn't break down.
Very frustrating for you BUT it 's raining so you would of got it wet and dirty and spoilt it Big Cry

Good luck getting it sorted.

So why did they leave it so late to Tax and Register it????

That's appalling!! I had the same but at least I hadn't left home to collect the car and it was not for the same reasons.

I would love to meet one of the top exec's at LR and have a nice chat about what is happening in the real world!!

Starting to get little niggles with my car now, the "Settings" wouldn't load today, yesterday it was the left side menu not working or at least I had to put excessive pressure on the touchpad!!

I felt so incensed by your treatment SR, I wrote the email below to LR a few minutes ago Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad .........

Dear sirs

I don’t really expect to get a reply to this email such is the level of service at land Rover these days!

I would however like to point you in the direction of the “FFRR Forum” (http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/index.php) where you cannot fail to see the problems that people are having with their new L405 cars.

My car is a 2018 Vogue SE which is a lovely car( I have had 11 LR products since 1986), but beset by niggles which should not be there on a £90k + car. Someone has not done their proper QA before releasing the new Touch screens and associated software for example.

You will also note on the forum the appalling levels of service from dealerships (not all), who are, at times complacent and have a diffident attitude.

Your website is a disaster for anyone building a car in UK….why is the model used left hand drive?? VW, Mercedes and BMW all have UK right hand drive cars to build from. JLR is supposed to be a British icon, so why are you so frightened of showing “Britishness”, or has the US and China stolen your soul??

You need to get your act together before people like me go elsewhere and your two week layoff at Birmingham becomes a much longer affair!!

Faithfully (or not maybe?)

To play devil’s advocate for a minute, the likes of BMW are very much bigger and wealthier companies than JLR, dwarfing them in terms of sales; BMW will have the marketing and website development budget that the likes of JLR can only dream of!

BMW would have to be completely incompetent to not produce a better website, with lots more expensive reasons variations.
