Been here for quite a while now and have seen the odd post about someone's Aston Martin and a few about running the FFRR on a budget so we have a good spead of wealth and obviously jobs. There are regular posters who I don't personally know but wonder what you guys do for a job. Obviously ALL our main jobs are looking after our FFRR but what about our main/part time money winning jobs?
I will start.
I'm a process operator working for Shell (soon to be Essar) in he northwest. Easiest way to describe my job is what Homer Simpson does but with oil instead of nuclear. I did an apprenticeship when I left 6th form and got sponsored by Shell. I had visions of uni but my dad had visions of me getting a job..... My dad won an I'm very pleased he did now.

I've got a few minibuses.

When I'm not putting the RR back together I provide IT support for 100+ users across 4 sites, Trowbridge, Stockport, Nottingham and Seaham. Keeps me busy. 

I'll kick off as well - I'm a web/intranet/portal consultant.

Started life in banks/insurance and then went into sales (cars mainly and worked for Lookers LandRover many moons ago) That's what started my love of the damn things I think.

Then went into computer sales and that got me into this interweb thing.. Went through the cycle of developer/designer/web builder to Business Analyst to Project Manager and then to consultant.

I manage the NHS Stop Smoking Service across Devon (not including Torbay or Plymouth). Been doing that about 3 years and did the same for Torbay before that. In a nutshell I save lives!!  FFRR TD6 HSE

I'm an embedded software consultant, sometimes I manage people and sometimes I design and write the code myself, mostly for small devices such as routers, mobile phones, trackers etc.
