Chrome bits,knowing where to stop!

Now I have to admit I have a bit o Chrome on my Tdv8,being java black I think it gives it a bit of a lift, mine is done "I think" quite tastefully and sparingly, yesterday I saw an L322 done up like a Christmas tree, the only thing missing was a fairy glued to the roof😬
It must have had EVERY available Chrome trim possible to purchase glued on,even the A,B,C pillars hadn't escaped, now I'm all for free expression and all that but...I'd be interested in others opinions...😕 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

I used to be indecisive and have a split personality... but we are ok now...I think?

It’s a no from me - any chrome is too much chrome IMHO

Appreciate that there’s a full spectrum of tastes though - that’s what makes life so much fun Very Happy

This guy clearly didn’t know when to stop!

Not a chrome fan myself on a modern car.

Discretion always. When it comes to cars, I much prefer a wolf in sheep's clothing to a sheep in wolf's clothing. Cool John

Gulp! Hopefully the double sided tape isn't too strong! Shocked 2008 L322 Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Java Black with parchment and Navy interior. 125000mls.

I'm in the process of removing some of the chrome the previous owner stuck on, so it's a no from me too.

Just don't even start with the chrome stuff, it can look gash especially when people put it around the headlights / tail lights etc as kind of an outline. I just don't get it.

I've added chrome to a MINI before, where just a little chrome is in character.

But, to a Land Rover, or Range Rover? Er... no!

My TDV8 came with Chrome Mirrors, Side Steps and Wing Vents.
Have kept the Mirrors but gone for Standard Side Steps and less Chrome on the Wing Vents.
I thought it looked a bit to "Dealerish" for my taste.

Each to their own, if you like chrome, use chrome Thumbs Up

Me, as far as I go is chrome door handle covers. .
