Well today it has been looked at, how do I know? in control app.
Sharon from JLR phoned about 4 to say the garage said they would start on it yesterday, I told her they had not touched it until 2.44 this afternoon.
They are meant to be giving me an update this afternoon. letters not necessarily in the right order

2016 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Loire Blue

11.30 they phoned to say it needed a new turbo. Warning light illuminates on the 9th. dealer says its ok to drive and takes over 2 weeks to do half an hours diagnosis. Parts are available but I have to go back to the back of the queue and wait another 2 weeks to fix it.
Thats 5 weeks from warning light to fixed.
JLR Customer service say they are unable to influence how a dealer schedules their work. letters not necessarily in the right order

So to finish the tale.
Car back today, 4 weeks from warning light to returned.
On collecting I enquired what was wrong with the turbo. Informed it is a known fault, there is a bulletin if those fault codes show then the turbo should be replaced.
Strange how they did not know that when LR Assist e-mailed them the codes a month ago. letters not necessarily in the right order
