HI all so bought a adapter for the iphone lead (genuine apple) to lightening for an iphone 6 and get a device error, so i bought a wma 1000 plugged that in and get the same message, am i doing something wrong? i did try an ipod and that appeared to work ok, i do get sound with the wma 1000 but its very hit and miss and still says device error, can anyone help or point me in the right direction please? 2011 4.4 tdv8 autobiography black

I'm far from an expert on this and I could be talking complete but this worked for me. I got a Bovee 10000? and got the same "device error"message, I was told to download the Apple music app and have at least 1 track stored on it then re pair my Iphone with the car. I was convinced that this was a wind up as my dinosaur brain can't figure out how this would help but it did.
It now works fine with deezer and spotify and all of the other downloaded stuff on my phone controlled from the car screen and steering wheel buttons. It may have been a coincidence but it works now.
