Bottle jacks with metal blocks

Hi Folks,

Well it looks like myself and the very engineeringly talented GI Jim are about to see if we can run a group buy for converted sprinter bottle jacks -- with his engineering and my logistics we think this is possible.

Now the price won't be cheap, we think £100 delivered (to UK mainland) will be about where the price is at, this is very much dependent on base costs of the jack to modify -- but we need to be realistic to be on the safe side.

Now the price will include a donation to the site, and a donation Jim's charity training apprentice engineers.

If I can get the jack point size and shape for L405 then I can do both? As I have the L322 it was not a problem to see if it fitted. I work for a charity based organisation teaching apprentice engineers and they will be doing the work under the guidance from yours truly May The FFoRRce Be With You

I have a Sprinter jack with the adapter in place and it slips into the space nearest you on the left as you look at the spare.

I'm surprised you didn't get any takers - the original threads were very popular, but I guess most of those that wanted them sorted something out by now.

I'm still looking for something, but quite niche as I have an L405 with deployable steps - so the sprinter jack is too tall to start with
