i have being looking at similar stuff and theres plenty about with 80k miles or a bit less and good history but £16.5k seems to be sticker price, so you could probably get one for £15.5 - £16k but i think £15k would be tricky.....

jcw - your car looks nice but i would say its just over retail money which will be tricky with a private sale - good luck though!

Thanks Andy, useful feedback thats appreciated - I guess having addressed all the usual issues on these and aside from an oil service in due course, there's nothing to spend for the foreseeable, new brakes all round, new tyres, suspension bushes etc all renewed and new mot yesterday. Having owned a few 2010-12 L322's they all seem to suffer from rusty rear arches and upper tailgate to a greater or lesser degree, this one is completely rust free which I reckon is unusual.

Happy to consider offers with all this being said

yes its a general issue... my old l322 had the whole tailgate replaced under warranty as they have a 5 year guarantee for the body etc...... i would deffo consider getting the bits done as i think that although superficial will put people off (it would me and i know that its not a big deal)....

What you exactly looking for and price range as I've seen plenty of top range rovers for sale.

Details are same as thread title really - 4.4 or 5.0 (maybe 4.2) Ideal budget is £15,000 but can go a little bit more for right car.

Open minded to high milage but must have very good history and stamps and invoices - Not interested in missing service books or no invoices but fully stamped book (we can all come up with one of those).

JCW's one on here ticks all the boxes but more than what I can go to and would need to convince Mrs as its white, but its the right standard. A little cheaper and Black/Silver/Grey and I would be all over it.

I would prefer to buy private and have cash waiting for a bank transfer and stress free deal.
