I removed my rear bumper to have a tow bar fitted but when refitting I noticed a gap where the bottom trim meets the bottom of the wheel arch liner. Is that normal?

Mines the facelift style (if that makes a difference).

The fixing at the bottom is flimsy angled piece of plastic that looks like it could tuck into an opening, but it then doesn’t attach with the screw.
