Each to their own , its far from the worst ive seen but i dont think you are unimaginative if you choose any colour if its the colour you want.

I worked in the city of london many years ago working for a company called fenchurch , one of the MDs was big into his Ferraris and had a 512 bb. He had a client from saudi turning up so had his Red BB outside as the client was also a Ferrari collector. The client turned up in a Koenig 512 bb that looked a complete dogs dinner. The client was worth gazillions. He was delighted with his Carlos Fandago BB and i got the impression he really didnt give a crap what anyone else thought of it. And rightly so. 2015 4.4 AB
