Rear DVD Screen Dim

Hi all,

I have a dim left side headrest screen, I've swapped the screen with the right hand side one and it is bright and fine.

Which tells me it's not the screen unit.

Anybody heard of this? It's dim to the point that it can only be seen if the sun is shining on it.

I was wondering if it could be the rear screen driver unit in the boot? Possible wiring? Or maybe there is a setting somewhere that I am missing?

Not much help, but it sounds like the backlight isn't coming on for some reason. You say it works ok when you swap to the other side? Doers the other work ok when swapped to this position?

All I can suggest is that you check all the connections. 2010 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE
