Hi guys,

I will soon replace the rocker cover seals on my 4.4L V8 (BMW petrol) 322.

They suffer the usual bubbly paint. I am thinking of having the rocker covers powder coated.

Question, has anyone done it?

Would you have any tips or recommendation?

Ideally, I would like to source 2 spare rocker covers to get them to powder coated ahead of the job and make the process a couple of hours job rather than a few days one.

The bay is your friend for spare covers buy genuine seal but no garuntee they won't leak a rub down and a few Coates of high temp paint in your colour of choice will do just as well

I plan to repaint mine but I'll try wrinkle finish paint as I did on my P38A Ron B. VK2OTC
