MOT Fail L322 TD6 Rear Brake pipes corrosion from caliper on

Obscure description but sounds like my local is scared of the job! Are they a special part from LR or can they be made up?
What sort of job? Defo ramp job so any recommends?

There are two parts of hard line on the rear of these, one pair of long sections running from the front nearside wheel arch to the rear corners and then a short section of hard line strapped to the suspension arm between two flexible hoses. Easy enough job to replace, I've done mine while the car was on axle stands.

Replace the original steel pipes with copper pipe and that should last the life of the car, then replace the flexi pipes with new from the MD or alike... Thumbs Up

That's what I thought but the local seems to think its not a standard set up?

Appeared pretty standard to me. I'd have thought you can get steel sets from LR, or as Craig says us copper or cunifer.

I read somewhere that you shouldn't use copper with antilock brakes as the pulsing can case harden the copper. Cunifer is fine apparently 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE
