2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

No big fork required in my case - used the splitter to create significant tension and then one skilfully aimed tap with a BFH and the taper released.

Photo of splitter that I used - the ball joint had been there for a while (if not since new); I could have reused it had I needed to.

I bought a kit from Amazon which helped me split the upper and lower arm ball joints in 10 mins
