Noticed on my 2012 supercharge the rear window has rubber strips down each side
On my other two earlier models I have there is nothing there
I only noticed these because they were all misshapen due to water and aluminium not a good combination
Before I think of replacing them, anyone any ideas on when these became standard and what was the point ?
Part number is L322 7H42-42431 left and right

No idea what price these are but only know not terribly useful at first glance

they are supposed to restrict rain water going down the side of the upper tailgate and to stop the glass edge being chipped...
many of the strips have the bottom part corroded and members here have taken them off without any problems..

Do you know if they bothered replacing them or just glad to get rid of them

just took them off and left as is.....i did the same on my last SC..

Just told they are £33 each so think I will follow suite !!!!
