Just had naviplus installed in my 2014 Vogue SE one of the best things I have done

Does everything work as per before (anything not working?), just now with the added advantage of carplay? How difficult was the installation? L405 SDV8 Autobiography (MY13)

Actually you were correct DUAL View does no longer work,I mis understood when I was told it would

I've now almost completed the install and you can see a few videos and pictures here

https://www.rangerovers.net/forum/24-range...l405s.html

Happy to answer any questions

Oh I've also just bought a wireless carplay dongle so intend hiding everything away on the final install

Jobs still to do are
1 Relocate the GPS attenned inside the grill on the dashboard ( can anyone tell me how to remove this and upper airvents above the screen ? )
2 Add a SIM card and 4G Attenna
3 Relocate the USB lead into the glove box ( how do remove this to access it from behind the dash
4 Fit the dash trim back on

Great to see a real demonstration.

What would be your best guess of the total installation time (including head scratching!)? 2016 SDV8 AB

I think it depends on your skills but I'd say budget a day

It's a reletivley easy job really for anyone thats ever changed a car radio but you want to take your time and work out where to put stuff, the wiring harness has 12 cables that aren't requried lol

For a skilled pro I'd say half a day or less, as you say the head scratching is a big part but also just the lack or proper instructions slows you down.

I think we've ( myself any my girlfriend ) spent about 6 or 7 hours although that was installing 3 times and removing twice.

So yeah budget a day.

It does look great and the android OS is quick and responsive Smile

Dual view seems to the only function that’s no longer working

Everything else is there and functions as normal

It makes a premium car perfect where before the infotainment was a joke

Very happy with it
