It was just a simple blanking plate that slips between the EGR vale and its position on the engine. They actually supply two plates, one that is designed to just slide in when loosening the two bolts holding the valve, without having to remove the valve the other with two bolt holes, you remove the bolts holding the valve, position the plate and rebolt. Both plates are very slim and are almost invisible.

Cavalier - any more updates? Searched ebay and can't find plates for a 4.4, only 3.6  Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

DrRob I've looked high and low myself and I cannot find the place I bought my plates from. But to honest I think a multi fit the blanking plate advertised on eBay looks like the one I fitted.
