Sounds more like throttle potentiometer (throttle pedal) than throttle body, although the fault it occurs while using cruise control then the throttle butterfly could be being operated to increase exhaust gas flow through the EGR valve. |

^ +1 with GraemeS and cozzy on this. Mine had a lot of gunge when I changed the short plenum hoses. Also clean the MAP sensor, just behind the throttle body on top of the plenum.

I would do some experimenting with the brake and accelerator pedals to see if the accelerator can be made to misbehave, possibly with a different fault code that might assist in finding the culprit. |
