With the biggest plug you need to slide it towards the front of the car and it'll pop up. Every time the issue has been with my TV box, I've lost the screen too, but with the DSP it's just sound, hence why I suggested you start there

Weeellllllllllllll

Much swearing later and a bit of an update.

Cleaned connectors on all the plugs and sockets very carefully.

Still no sound Censored BUT the screen text has turned green whereas previously it was a yellow brown colour ha ha.
