L322 Bluetooth phone connection

It seems that several of us have an issue with our Bluetooth connections and iPhones, they seem to crackle and pop and are bloody awful, has anyone got a solution or a modification to fix the problem.

Many thanks Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

My iphone connects to the land rover fine, for phone calls. For streaming, I've used a bluetooth FM transmitter, plugged into the cigarette lighter, to good effect. --------

Mines dreadful and that’s being polite!
The only way I’ve got round it, is to put the iPhone either in the boot or rear of the car, seems the further away from the head unit the clearer it becomes…..not ideal, but one way round it.
My daughters Fiat 500 has a better Bluetooth than the RR🙄🙄🙄 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!

Not all L322 have the same technology. My 2010+ MY is absolutely fine, but that is why I got it as it has the more modern technology built in. I used to connect wireslessly to the Bovee to the iPod connector for streaming and also to the Bluetooth for phone calls. All was fine and good no crackling and steering wheel controls working. But since then I’ve upgraded with naviplus so use everything via apple CarPlay wireless protocol now. Even better now.
