Rear TV - Input Chpices

I'm currently searching for an L322 4.2 S/c.

On the vehicles that are fitted with rear entertainment screens is there any input options besides DVD players? We gave up our DVD collection a few years ago and now the kids watch things on their iPads. Is there anyway to connect or stream content from an IPad or iPhone?

The screens will have an aux RCA (red/white/yellow phono plug) input that you can select. It’s not hi def. I’ve not done it but I believe you will need a converter from hdmi to rca box, and a lead to go from the lightening connector to hdmi from the iPad. I think you can only have one input, going to 2 screens, not an iPad on each, but not sure.

General consensus tends to be to ditch the idea of interfacing with the car and just use the iPads, as the screens are better than those in the car.

There are a few posts about it, have a search. I think some have done it.
