France 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Rimini Red

Hi tommy
Have you put it through a Spanish mot yet?
I was worried about mine passing in France after the new regulations, but went straight through, no problems.

Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue

I had given up on the idea of registering the car here, simply due to the cost. We’re renovating an old vineyard so money is always earmarked for something else!

However, I may get a quote from the chap who did the C70.

I’m also quite happy to pop back to the UK once a year for a MOT and to get supplies for the P38. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

I would put it in for the mot, and see what happens...what have you got to loose?

Being on UK plates means I can’t pop her through the test. ITV is the Spanish version of the MOT test. Only Spanish reg cars can have the ITV. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue

Just to close the loop on this thread, tonight I fitted Westies Spanish registration plates 😀😀

From an original quote of £4200 + £2000 ish for new lights I’m quite pleased to report it was completed for less than £1200 all in!! I had the headlamps ‘modified’ to pass the ITV (MOT) which she flew through.

If that wasn’t enough the annual road tax for her is here in Spain is €154, or about £132 vs the £500 I was paying on the UK. Moving her here will soon pay itself off.

Happy chap tonight 🤪 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior

915e for me in Portugal
But it drops to about 500e next year.
Basically Portugal just does what it wants wrt eu rules and pays the fine.

Would be great to organise an Iberian area meet up for full fats. The only ones I see here are UK plated one. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior
