United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

I had a huge soft spot for the car I first learned to drive in and then spent my first year driving. It doesn’t quite fit the criteria of wanting one back now though! But it’s amazing to think that the test that I passed, with a whole 26 bhp, still entitles me drive a 339 bhp RR, any number of trailers and 7.5 tonne lorries. Poor sods now need many hours of training and several pointless and costly tests to achieve the same thing Evil or Very Mad

But, on the +ve side, it’s still the only car I’ve ever owned with a fully carpeted dashboard (!) and the only one that could be driven with my head sticking out of the sunroof! Laughing

@Red Merle, +1 on the requirements for licensing between now and then. I took my bike test in the 80s and i had to do two circuits left and two right around a 1/2 mile block. The examiner couldnt see me for 70% of the time !!!! Probably explains alot of my questionable riding habits Rolling with laughter 2015 4.4 AB

Scotland 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Santorini Black

This one, sadly it looked great on top but when on the 2 poster we were able to ‘flex’ the whole front end, bulkhead and crossmember under the radiator were gone.
At the time they were worth £500 and the repairs were estimated about 5-6 times the value of the car, oh to have had a crystal ball and the space to have kept it.

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Luxor

Vw Corrado VR6 that I bought when I was 19, still to this day cannot understand why the insurance was so stupidly cheap for a 19 year old on a 2.9 V6.

It's the only car I truly regret selling.

I've come close to getting another many times, the 'Mr Sensible' side of my brain keeps getting in the way though.

If I ever get another garage built one corner of it will be reserved for a Corrado. Current

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE Supercharged Java Black

My Jensen Interceptor, which I bought in 1989 and used as my daily for five years commuting 50 miles to W1 and back. I bought a Jaguar Sovereign for commuting to save fuel and didn't drive my Interceptor much, so sold it for peanuts in early 2000's. This photo is from when a subsequent owner was selling it on eBay - I should have bought it back when I had the chance!

@Ricichi - love the Mk3 cortina 2000E, I couldn't quite stretch to one when I bought my first car, so I bought a 1600L an regretted it immediately, so since then I've always waited for exactly the right car.

My old 106 Rallye.... easily the best car I have ever owned Big Cry

Even back then I sold it for nearly double what I paid for it, after 3 years of track days and just good fun!

Tried to buy one a few years back, couldn’t believe the prices, so I brought something else with white steel wheels instead Rolling with laughter

Paris blue Capri Injection, stupidly sold it to some half wit who allowed it to be stolen and stripped twice but thought he was a "winner" with the insurance money...
