Just wanted to let you folks know that after many months of suffering annoying brake squeal under light to medium pressure I have finally found a brake pad that is silent under normal conditions. I have tried Brembo Pads, Genuine Range rover pads and Pagid Pads. Finally I have cleaned down the front brakes (again) and fitted Terrafirma Ceramic Brake pads. The car is now silent when braking from any speed and under any pressure. As far as i know the brembo 6 pot front calipers are quite troublesome when it comes to generating unwanted sound. I really struggled to find a solution to the problem so I thought I would become a member and share this information as I hope that it can save some of you guys time and money if you have squeaky brakes (like a london bus or taxi cab sound, high pitch).
