3.6tdv8 vs 4.4tdv8 weight

Specs say 3.6 2770kg while 4.4 2.580kg.
How is this possible?? 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

3.6 is 202kg could not find 4.4 weight but i think it cannot be much lighter since td6 is 210kg too. 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.

4.4 has got more air space inside so that would make it lighter Very Happy 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone
2005 4.4V8 (M62) Bonatti Grey/ Parchment interior - gone
1998 4.6HSE Blue/ Cream interior (can't remember exact colours) - gone
1977 White - gone (should have kept)

the 4.4 is newer tech so maybe lighter metals were used in the construction....it will be interesting to find out the actual weight of this engine..

4.4 has 8 speed so transmission cant be lighter i guess...
Wow it is %3 lighter 87kg...
So here is 2kg:) 2010 3.6tdv8 180k km.
